Interdisciplinary Journal of Human Kinetics, Sports Science and Health Education welcomes original research articles, reviews, and scholarly contributions that align with the aims and scope of the journal. Authors are encouraged to follow these guidelines to ensure a smooth submission and review process.

2. Scope

Manuscripts submitted should align with the journal’s thematic focus and contribute significantly to advancing knowledge in the relevant field.

3. Submission Process

Manuscripts should be submitted via the journal’s submission platform or via email to editor@injohkshe.org.ng.

All submissions must include a cover letter indicating the title, author(s), and a statement that the manuscript is original and has not been submitted elsewhere.

4. Manuscript Format
File Type: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx).

Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt.

Spacing: Double-spaced.

Margins: 1 inch on all sides.

Page Numbers: Bottom center of each page.

5. Structure of Manuscript

Title Page: Title, authors’ full names, affiliations, and corresponding author’s email.

Abstract: Maximum 250 words, summarizing the background, methods, results, and conclusion.

Keywords: 4-6 relevant keywords.

Main Text: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion.

Acknowledgements (if applicable)

References: Use [APA referencing style (specify according to your journal’s choice).

6. Tables and Figures

Should be placed at the end of the manuscript or embedded within the text after first mention.

Must be numbered consecutively and appropriately titled.

Figures should be of high resolution (at least 300 dpi).

7. Referencing Style

References should be recent, relevant, and formatted consistently according to APA style.

Ensure all in-text citations match the reference list.

8. Ethical Considerations

Authors must ensure their study complies with ethical standards.

Studies involving humans or animals must include statements of ethical approval from relevant committees.

Plagiarism is strictly prohibited, and all manuscripts will be checked using plagiarism detection software.

9. Conflict of Interest

Authors should disclose any potential conflicts of interest related to the manuscript.

10. Authorship

All listed authors must have made significant contributions to the research and approved the final manuscript.

11. Submission of Revised Manuscripts

Authors will be invited to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers’ comments. Revisions should be submitted within the specified timeframe with a response letter addressing each comment.

12. Copyright and Licensing
Upon acceptance, authors may be required to sign a copyright transfer or licensing agreement allowing the journal to publish the manuscript.
